Each incarnation of Resident Evil on the Wii has sold less than the previous release (RE4 included, selling the most). While I'm going to get it because I'm a huge Metroid fan, I already have serious misgivings about the product. Samus doesn't look right, the gameplay looks like it might be too linear (they did say it was going to be more like Fusion, which is the worst game in the franchise), and two hours of cinematics just sounds annoying. |
i think you got it quite wrong. Another M is hardly a sequel to prime(a game that didnt sold too good compared to major shooters on the wii). Is like saying NSMW was gonna sell worse than Mario Galaxy 1. Obviously that wasnt the case. Prime was a bit stale at that point, at its fps nature did alienate quite some Metroid players. A good marketting push will surely boost Another M above prime 3.
