Dropping to $249 would be enough to price the cheapest bundle with Move at $330 or less, in line with most other bundles, so avoiding any risk of making it unattractive. yeah there is no need to cut it to $199 hell they are doing good for the current price and at $249 they can sell MOVE at $300 with no loss too or a little which will not matter much as SW sales will cover it easily But about PSP, how could it sell for more than $99 once DS drops to that level? So, once 3DS launch date is known and so DS' drop too, anticipating it could be a good move. And when DS, with its two screens, will be profitable on HW at $99, PSP will be too. yeah that what.people think PSP at $99 will make a loss.........meh but the thing is that PSP is supposed to be in market 4 more years and if they make it $99 then it will have problems later. doing it near PSP2 launch next year will atleast make it survive This doesn't exclude offering also PSP-phone, PSPGo and possibly other premium models priced higher, obviously, but if the competition has an entry level under $100 and if it's possible for Sony too to price a model under that threshold, not doing it would damage sales. a $130 will be a better price.giving it a price cut for next some years |
