So let me see. People say GT brand is nothing in the US, didn't GT2 and GT3 sold most in the US?
Looking at Reach VS GT5 30 to 20 weeks before Launch ve have 79k versus 152k. No ads on either game so the Ads bullshit now to explain Reach pre orders now cannot be applied.
Reach is also the THIRD Halo game on the console and GT5 is the first True GT game on PS3.
GT5 has also been hyped since the revelation of PS3. GT5 is portrayed as the Holy fucking grail for PS3 when PS3 people are talking.
So basicly it should be GT5 gigant that can be compared to Halo 3, at least when you hear peoples arguments for PS3. In other threads people are using GT5 as an argument for huge increase in PS3 sales, overcoming 360 sales and so on.
And still people here thinks that the current pre orders seems OK?
Seems that people have expected God him self and now when the pre orders gives indication they either try to come up with counter arguments like No Ads, Better i Europe, US hates GT and so on or that a Goat is as good as the expected God.
Where is the logic? This game should be the killer game, THE PS3 game, THE SUPER GAME. If it should be the numbers so not only be equal to Halo Reach but more then Halo 3 considering the current user base size.
Sorry folks but I am starting to doubt it.

360: 39-42 PS3: 31-34 Wii: 67-70
Future projection
Wii will hit 100 million before christmas 2010 (made december 2008)
NDS Family will have sold and shipped more then PS2 at the end of 2009 (made january 2009)
