yes if SONY dropped PS3 to $199 then they would lose alot but nobody ever suggested this but he made up his own situationa and started explaining me.the same as you

i jst reffered to the PSP being $99.it is very cheap to make so they won't lose money on that

Sony has lost all the money they banked in from the Ps1 and Ps2 era on the Ps3. I wish i can find that graph for you.

Sony is JUST starting to profit off the ps3 this year. Their gaming division only has a couple hundred milllions while Nintendo are at their 19 billions.

you are doing the same thing as that guy.we all know this so why are we discussing it.and PS divisions financials matter less as PS3 is more an aim for antire SONY for blu-ray royalties than jst PS division itself

Of course Nintendo doesn't count since the company is all about gaming. Sony has other divisions to profit from.

If sony drops their prices, you guys wouldn't see a Ps4 or a Psp2 for YEARS to come.

if SONY drops the price for PSP then we will definetly see the those two.and if PS3 makes a minor price cut like $50 then too we will see both of them.even $199 PS3 would see both of them as then PS3 sales will be very immense and software sales will rise and $199 PS3 will lose them $50 which they were from a long time,alot more than that.i'm not saying they will make a profit jst replying my view
