Which event quest? There are many, and i'm not up on which ones are currently running.

I don't remeber, the first one currently, the one where you're at the boat and you have to repel the gigant monster

Jhen Mohran? I thought you had to be at least HR 18 to do the event quest version of that?

 

He's not hard to kill, but it very much relies on having a great team. You should have at least two guys with strong Ice or Dragon melee weapons (preferably Long Sword, Great Sword, or Hammer) who can get his legs and belly in the second phase, and the rest is just a matter of keeping things in order. Someone should be on the cannon constantly, only really bother with the ballista to get rid of its horns, know when to use the ballista binder, and get your dragonator timing down perfectly.

The quest for him to get to high rank is easier.
