modern warfare 2 sold 8.33m on the ps3. gt5s pre orders are about the same as mw2s pre orders in america with no advertising unlike what mw2 had during the nba playoffs (american sport). gt5 will be much bigger than mw2 in japan. gt5 will be bigger in emeaa and will be heavily bundled(obviously) so i dont know whats with the worrying and doubting.
