I like how Nintendo puts things in perspective:

http://www.gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=132837

If the Wii is the fastest-selling console by 15 months, why do we keep seeing these posts? Shouldn't we be celebrating the fact that it is the fastest-selling console ever?

Here's the facts. 360 had a redesign. PS3 had a redesign. Wii is selling now as the same console it was in 2006. When Nintendo wants to, they can offer a redesigned Wii, spark sales again, and leave Sony and Microsoft in the dust.

Why should we celebrate? Especially if Wii isn't your favourite console?

Do you have nintendo stock or something?

You should celebrate that Nintendo is succeeding. They are the only company that actually cares about gaming. Microsoft and Sony care more about profits, creating monopolies, and sucking the life out of everything they touch.

Okay so Nintendo wanted to expand the market and make gaming mainstream, so what? That's a good thing. That means gaming isn't going to turn into a niche business and slowly die. That means more people are enjoying gaming instead of a select few hardcore grumps.

Selling a console that costs 800 dollars or more for 600 at launch is something that a company   that cares about profit does,(those greedy bastards at Sony)  and selling a console that costs 150 for 250 at launch is from the god Samaritan of gaming (we thank you dear nintendo for not caring for profit and selling your console so cheap)

Yeah, isn't it funny to see how it logically goes.
