what im saying is look at the top franchises in the west, cod, fifa, madden, and assasins creedd they get milked a lot. cod to an extent where they are desperate at a point where they bring a remote control kamikazi car as a kill streak. you dont see a metal gear solid game coming every year, or a resident evil game. 

i feel that japanese devs put more love and time into their games. yes they make some games noob friendly like ff13 or resident evil 5 but you cant blame when they are loosing money. on the other hand activision is making profit just because of cod.

I don't think it's entirely true. Western devs may milk titles, yes, but Eastern publishers will do so as well. Look at Pro Evolution Soccer by Konami. Or the countless remakes Square-Enix releases.Or FFXIIIvs or XIII Agito. Or Nintendo's constant use of the 'Wii' franchise to sell games.

Also, if I remember rightly, Activision are making tons of revenue but only just making profit... Blizzard's the one raking in the cash for them.
