Will Wii offer more of what the Ps2 did or more of the DS?

Like, want? Gamers, real gamers, not casuals want hardcore games that the GBA and PS2 had. DS is sub par in that category

One of the main reasons the DS has mopped the floor with the PSP is that Nintendo maintained a strong library in all of the key genres that the Gameboy line was known for; there are plenty of good RPGs, 2d platformers and puzzle games. The PSP tried to bring success in the handheld market by dominating genres that were popular on the PS2. The result is that people who own a PSP are far more likely to be playing emulated SNES games on their PSP than PSP games; many of these games that they're playing for the SNES are similar to the games that are available for the DS.

 

My point is that the DS has less full length, hardcore games than either the GBA and PS2 and instead has an overabundance of casual impulse games. I understand that is the larger market now, but for old time gamers like me who like rocking out for hours and busting brain cells on games like OoT, Majora's Mask, Xenogears, God of War, ICO, Golden Suns and Secret of Mana's the DS is weaker than some previous gen systems.
