I would consider a one time fee after a trial period (30-60 days) if a game was compelling enough for me to continue playing online. Particularly if added maps or additional leveling was available with said fee. But after a month straight of MW2 online, I'd had enough. If the fee's would limit the amount of cheaters and jerks online playing, it could be a worthwhile investment as well. I guess there could be some upside to it if the proper environment, pricing and content were created for a subscription model. Just have to wait and see how it pans out. |
