I don't think a doctor can do much aside from find out whether it's a latex allergy in the first place... and afaik, if you have that, you have it and that's that.

As to the OP question... yes. Only in my current relationship, about an year and a half into it.

The thing is that it's very hard in my country to get any other type of condoms except latex ones. Not to mention that those polyurethane ones you ware talking about are very expensive.

Of course I could be alergic to the spermicide/lubricant. I remember reading on a site a while back that if you're alergic to latex you have to have the condomn on for a little while until you start getting a rash, but I get a rash the instant I put the condom on. Anyway I should go see a doctor, though I'm kinda embaressed to do that and I don't know what type of doctor I have to see.
