In my expereince the posters here, well some of them, really know their chit. There are several other threads on the Sammy TV you referenced that you might want to check out as well.
Personally I'd vote for getting the absolute best 2d LCD or Plasma display I could afford right now and save 3D for 2 or 3 years down the line. But that's just me.
