Thank you all for the help. I hooked up my X360 to my PC monitor yesterday and I get sound from headphones that I stick into this adapter you showed me to get:
And then I used the screwdriver trick you showed me where you remove the plastic off of the AV cable so you have room to plug in a HDMI to DVI cable into the HDMI slot on the X360.
It's the first time I play in HD on my own Xbox 360 in this generation. 
And it's so sweet. Multiplatforms have almost the same quality of graphics as my powerful PC!
