I'd say yes. Anywhere between 3-6 weeks I feel are certain.
PS3 has GT5 for Europe and has been king of Japan for a while now for home consoles and the Holiday bundles and such should give it the edge in these two regions. These regions typically don't see the same holiday surge as NA but they'll be Sony territory for the most part. It will also do very well in NA but will most likely be outpaced by the 360 with the Slim and Kinect (which is the same week as GT5... that should be interesting). Worldwide though I think it'll edge the 360 out for a few weeks due to it's worldwide appeal.
I forgot to mention... I think this is most likely to happen early October until early November, if at all.
