Black, not white. Black fits better with people's entertainment centers. People will switch from WHITE to BLACK much more than they would the other way around.

it was launched in Novemebr... Holiday sales have started then too and the Wii had an amazing holiday last year. So it is not a fair comparison.
But it did provide a boost... hardly Earth shattering though considering all factors.

Obviously holiday sales had some impact but they hadn't gone into full swing at that point. Clearly the PS3 is poised to have an extremely good Holiday in EMEAA. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to see a PAL price cut and SKU shift, a new color model, and GT5 all within weeks of each other probably having an astronomical effect.
