Bought both AW and PoP:FS new and then sold them while they were worth something.  Not a lot of replay value to me.  Review scores really hurt both these titles obviously.

Collecting coffee thermos's in the middle of a psycho-thriller seemed like ridiculous game design.  It just ended the immersion and suspense at regular intervals.  Achievements can suck. Wake was going to be a dis. to many based on hype and wait time but it really is a good game.   It could still hit 1m lifetime but that's half what I expected on 360.  Ditching PC was inexplicable.  I don't care how much money changed hands that was a bad move for Remedy.

FS was beautiful and more like SoT than PoP 2005.  Short, glitchy and rushed though. Gamers aren't wild about movie tie-ins either.  I still don't understand why it flopped that hard.  Ubi's AC IP is so hot while PoP is all but dead.  The 360 fanbase especially has just abandoned it.  Ubi could beg Sony for a combo Blu-Ray and game bundle but that won't help the bottom line much.

I'm even less of an expert on racers but there are a lot around now and the genre has to compete for cash against stronger competition from AAs, F and TPSs and WRPGs. Those genres seem hotter to me right now.  Plus any race fans with a PS3 are waiting for Granmama.  Thanks for reading my book.
