You should perhaps read my post which includes all of November and December, and thus shows the 360 is leading, but just as negligably (not sure that is a word) as the PS3 is discounting that first week.
Also 'went'? I think you mean 'gone'
@ ajax, yes i agree, it is no certainty, but i think it is by far more probable the 360 will outsell PS3 for 2008 Americas. Had GTA4 been PS3 exclusive I might have been more sceptical (GTA has a lot of pull... I almost fear for the Wii when it is released)
