Halo Reach is going to sell alot of 360's.

I can't wait for the mountains of crow to give people that think otherwise

I love when people say this.

VGChartz Hardware data for the period 01st Jul 2007 to 24th Nov 2007 for 360

3.3 million consoles sold

VGChartz Hardware data for the period 06th Jul 2008 to 29th Nov 2008 for 360

4.3 million consoles sold

If you are curious, the 2009 figures for about the same time period last year 2009 were about 4.3m as well :P

http://www.vgchartz.com/hwtable.php?cons[]=X360&reg[]=Total&start=39642&end=39782 (2008)

Why do I bring this up?  What was the launch date of Halo 3?  September 25th 2007 - so really LESS consoles sold during the previous 3 months and 1 month after the launch of Halo 3 than a year later :P

I laugh at anyone that says Reach will move more consoles than GT5.  Don't get me wrong, but seriously, use your head.  I don't know why anyone sticks up for a console this much.  I have all of this gen's systems and I like them all for different reasons.

But yeah, I know I will get the obligatory "But everyone bought a 360 more than 3 months before the launch of Halo 3"

Just for shits and giggles:

VGChartz Hardware data for the period 01st Jul 2007 to 24th Nov 2007 for PS3

2.7m - only 600k less than 360, and PS3 was still expensive as heck then and Halo 3 was launched

LOL - you guys make me laugh

In amongst your research did you discover what else happened on the 7th of September 2008?

Also a little game called Gears of War 2 was released in November as well.
