Same here. Except I was not hyped for DQIX. But I sure am for DQX and DQXI and DQXII and so on as lons as they are on consoles.

Not anti-handheld but I usually dislike the experience so I simply ignore it in general.

Your missing out BIG TIME, you'd love the game.

I hope next time, VGC gives a DQ to a reviewer who actually knows a bit about, geez I don't know, Dragon Quest games? I laughed through the whole review.

No I was just kidding. Especially since he gave gameplay 7.5. That's ridiculous! It's my favorite gameplay genre!

The problem is that the way that the reviewer took on the gameplay aspect of DQIX, really made him look oblivious to what DQ games really are. I think that if you're going to review a game, at least have some basic notions of what the game is, or else, you'll only end up making comparisons to other games in the genre. 

Meh, what's important is that the game is awesome, and that's also the reason why the review is pretty low. It's 10 points below the average for it
