Um you do realize that nothing reaches sales expectations in this industry almost, because the sales expectations are unreasonable, EA expected Mirror's Edge to get 3 millions sales quickly (it eventually sold over 2 million and made a good profit especially since it was a relatively low budget project) MS expects to get half a million preorders for kinect so yea, not meeting sales expectations doesn't mean anything if those expectations are unreasonable/not based on facts
