| Buzzi said: I was just trying to say that you can'b blame Nintendo for the lack of 3rd party support, they couldn't invest money on exclusives in 2006-2007 and MS and Sony already bought many exclusives (or temporary ones) at that time. To answer you question, I never played an home console Zelda, and the only Metroid I played was Fusion on the GBA. About Mario, yes I like its games very much, I played many Mario games. I could live with just Nintendo but I don't, actually I'm playing Monster Hunter 3, Boom Blox Smash Party and No More Heroes, all 3rd party games... You continue saying Nintendo went casual but it's not true at all: some brands have a more casual approach, like Mario Kart, but can you say Brawl is casual? Or Mario Galaxy? Or Zelda Twilight Princess? There aren't that many games appealing to the casual audience compared to other Nintendo games: Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play, Wii Party, Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus, Big Brain Accademy (sorry if I forget 1 or 2 games). You can't say they turned casual when, generally speaking, the quality for the "hardcore" is always there. But I understand your need of more great IPs from 3rd parties, and that will happen in the future probably, seeing Nintendo's approach with the 3DS...but the Wii will never be accepted by third parties, that's a fact and blaming only Nintendo is a bit silly. |
I'll qoute you... last sentence...
But the Wii will never be accepted by third parties... who's fault is that? It is Nintendo's fault. Who drove away all the 3rd parties in N64 by keeping the cartige and not switching to CD?.... Nintendo did... who made developers pay thousands of cartiges just so they can make a game on NES and SNES, and Im not sure even N64... Nintendo did... Nintendo pissed off a lot of 3rd parties in the past and slowly that bit them in the ....eventually.
Nintendo did go casual, you go on about first party... I'm not talk about first party... first party is aweosme... no matter if we talk about Microsoft Sony or Nintendo...and don't mention hardcore... then I have to explain a lot about that...I like Nintendo's First party lets just say that, its "hardcore"... anyways I'm talking about the games we play after were done playing first party games... and the few good 3rd party games on the Wii... theyre are good but you CAN'T tell me that the 3rd party games on Xbox 360 and PS3 are on the same level with Nintendo's... you just can't. If you do, then it is more then obvious that your straight up stuck on Nintendo like hardcore and I can't convince you at all. I have about 50 Xbox 360 games... that I saw and thought cool I'd like that tried em out and for the most part I bought em and kept em.... now if I look at the Wii's library.... I simply can't do the same... I imagine I'd pick all First Party and a handful of 3rd party games and further-more I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like the 3rd party games of Nintendo then the 360/PS3's.I mean some of the worst of the worst games can be found on the Wii this gen for myself. For myself, not speaking for everyone... thats how bad thier library is to me, that Nintendo boy that used to stick to Nintendo for pretty much all my life.
Again let me get this clear to you... who made the Wii? Who gave up on 3rd party and went to make games that would appeal to casual or non-gamers.... games that for the most part... most of don't like... like Wii Fit for instance... Nintendo Nintendo Nintendo Nintendo...
They are the guys who let Conker's Bad Fur day HAPPEN, Killer Instincts... Turok... now, they don't. Get it? Nintendo changed, they didn't change thier First Party yeah I get that and I'm very glad about that but the rest... well if the rest was a person... you dont wanna know what I'd to it.
It's the truth, accept it. Nintendo changed and your okay with the change... the rest of the Nintendo fanbase.. well ex-fanbase isn't.
All gaming systems, consoles/PC, have thier perks... why fight over preferences? I like Coke and you like Pepsi, that's it, let's not fight over which toy we like best cause that's what they are. Is someone's preference in a toy important or is the relationship between you and your neighbor more important? Answer is obvious, but THE most important thing is your relationship with God almighty. God Bless you in Jesus's name.
I can communicate without talking... I can send a loved one money without actually sending money... and I can commit theft without the product disappearing, the point of theft is the point of theft not one of it's possible symptoms which is the product dissappearing. The thief wants to gain something without paying for it, that's the point of theft, the thief doesn't have to care or anybody else has to care if the product dissappears. The product dissappearing is just a possible symptom of theft. Gifts are sacrfices, in order to give a gift, it has to be a genuine sacrfice/gift, meaning a copy of the game isn't still in your PC. Piracy is theft and/or being a culprit of theft.
