I don't think there is enough of a market for this.
The game was not as well received as RE4. It was controversial over its setting. Basically, even if it were released, it would not sell.
Now maybe if the Wii (or its successor) got an equivalent version of RE6 at the same time as the other consoles got it, the game would do well and be worth having. But Capcom never talked about doing this game for the Wii, even when it was known as the Revolution and the system specs had not been made public (Listed to the early episodes of what is now TheWiire.com podcast).
