As for Sony counting a sale when the receive an order rather than when units leave the door - I'm not honestly sure whether this is the case or not but even if it was it shouldn't make that much of a difference - might account for 2-3 weeks of extra units I guess...

What matters to me is comparing apples to apples which is what we're doing - exactly the same techniques are used to put together our data for all consoles so if it works and lines up well for Nintendo and Microsoft then it should for Sony as well. If not, then the discrepancy / difference / alternative definition seems to be on their side not ours.

True, but sometimes is very tiresome to read the same things over and over again. Maybe if we could find the reason why Sony numbers seems a bit higher than they should be according to the trackers numbers, we could have less "Sony is undertracked" threads.
