Uh, PS3 effectively got a price cut 3 weeks ago.  That's the reason it's edged out Wii those weeks.

Yep, but do you really think PS3 and Wii are so close this year in Japan only because of that? Seriously, the PS3 has outsold the Wii more than just the last 2-3 weeks this year...
