It's wonderful to live in America.

Not really, Japan is the ideal place to live. This gen, America has been the worst region when it comes to localizations.

That's only the case if you don't play western games - I know you acknowledged that, but for Western tastes America is a pretty great place to be. Hell, even for Nintendo fans. You can argue that Europe gets more, but they never buy anything.

True, that's why I always found it weird that NoA localized less games than NoE, considering it's only 1 language to localize in the US, while in Europe they have to translate everything multiple times and one of them is english.

One good thing for Latin Americans this generation is that they are translating most games to spanish, making a good use of the european translations and sometimes even making a american spanish translation. I usually rather play them in english because it helps me to improve my skills and I don't need to trust the translators' efficiency, which is not excellent in many cases but mostly just plain good.
