I dont know about channel stuffing, but this link leads me to beleive that it is a rare practice:

Also, the more shipments we have, the more that i'm going to think that retailers are expecting a sizable upswing in sales, so I'm thinking that the rumors about the price cut or cheaper bundle are probably true.
