I'd really like HUNK to have a larger role in the next game. He's remained a fan favorite because of the mystery that surrounds him, and I know I'm not the only one that wants to see more of Mr. Death.
I'd also like to see Krauser again, although killing him twice in RE4 (once as Leon, and the second time as Ada) might have done him in. But then again, it's Resident Evil. Wouldn't be surprised to see Wesker without a scratch in the next game. Hope remains! 
Oh, and Barry Burton just for kicks, and awesome Magnums.
