I would say your 84 million is a little low, though it might hit it exactly. It depends on if Wii has a significant holiday dropoff this year compared to last year, but its 72 million now, if it pulls another 10 *holiday,* that plus whatever it sells between now and October will put it over that.
Myself, i'm holding out for Pokemon Black and White to have 3DS versions announced for the Western releases, given that the device will be out by then and Nintendo is definitely going to want to take the opportunity while its there.
