Not possible, since recent Wii disc drives can only read discs with a burst cutting area. This excludes writeable discs, and most DVDs.

OT: I think Nintendo could do a lot through advertising the value of their existing package, while promoting the variety of existing and upcoming titles.

And isn't possible to them to change their drives? They're the ones who wanted the D3-2 to fight piracy, they can use other drives if they want, can't they?

I was not talking about HD, but that would be a great addition too, even if the games are not made for HD, still would be nice for those who have an HD TV.
