I've used Dual Analog for shooters since the first Halo, and I can say I'm very used to it, and I can't agree with your sentiment on kbo and mouse only being better if you are not used to dual analog, it's more like a lot of FPS games have slowed down over the years to compensate for Dual Analog, and it's god damned sad.

If you have not only a PC but also consoles and you are not big on achievements or trophies(lame shits to start with,) then consoles are good for their exclusives and that's that since I can always plug in a 360 pad on my PC if I feel like it.

Very VERY poor excuse I hear all the time. The games simply have become more realistic. That's it.

It would be pretty sad if every FPS had the same controls as Quake or UT.

And if you still can't candle dual analog controls after all this time, then you simply suck at them. But please don't blame them for you inability.

Also lol at the last part. Millions of people love achievements/trophies to death. A very good reason to buy multiplat games on consoles. Again, you can't label them as shit just because you don't like them.

You don't need software assisted auto-aim with the mouse though. When I shoot someone I prefer to know it's my skill that's hit him or my lack of skill that misses, not the software kicking in to help. You can also tell the games that have poorly implemented auto-aim as it becomes really noticeable.

The mouse is just better suited to aiming than an analog stick. The keyboard is different. Ideal scenario would be a mouse with analog directional control.
