Awful, having to tilt the screeen makes the game look worse and less comfortable. And having to use the thumbs (but any other fingers wouldn't be much better) on a little screen, obstructing the view of a large part of it, makes things even worse. Controlling a FPS with a stylus wouldn't be any better, though, a stylus can be very precise, but except for a few very sharp reflexed gamers, only if used more slowly than at the typical FPS pace.
So up until now it looks like no new control is better than the old ones for FPS, and only WM Plus or PS Move could be as good if properly fit in the game by programmers.
