I don't think you can fault Sony for the PS3 not working with Nvidia's 3D, for the 3D vision kit has to be connected to the PC. The PS3 has an Nvidia GPU on board which should be capable of using the kit, but I doubt Nvidia is interested in providing drivers for that, because they want to sell high end graphics cards.
