I just finished the game. Gameplay wise it's very good. Some of the puzzles can break your brain. The art style is beautiful but I felt the first half had better art direction with the forest setting. The second half was more typical platforming environments. It reminded me of the more industrial parts of Crash Bandicoot and Super Mario Land 2.
Storywise this game can go fuck itself. There's leading an interpretive story, and then there's this bullshit where they just throw 60 unconnected sets, enemies and ideas and say "Here, figure it out". It started off great also. The forest area with the kids attacking you from afar and the mysteriousness of them was just great. Then it just leads nowhere. The kids are never seen again and all of a sudden were going through a gravity factory. I do like interpretive stories. Braid's was awesome. The difference though is that Braid gave you the tools necessary to interpret the story to begin with. Limbo doesn't.

I mean between a forest, a hotel, a gravity factory, the kids attacking you, the giant insects and spiders, the appearance and reappearance of tires, saw blades, machine guns, you crashing through glass and the girl at the end you walk up to, how do you make heads or tails of any of it?
