An ipad also has fast boot and long battery life. It's easy to hold in a variety of positions and environments. These factors are desirable for home or travel use.
I've had netbooks before and I don't like them. They may be cheap but you get what you pay for.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
