I still don't think your getting it and i don't know how i can make it any simpler...

But okay one last try.

If your COMPARING PS2 sales to 360 sales YOU HAVE to have an equal/fair starting point of which to compare them.

But your whole point of view is that these numbers is ment to compare two products and who's more successful, which it's not at all.

These numbers shows how many PS2 units have been sold since the start of "next gen". Most people can agree on that the start of next gen was when the 360 was launched. The 360 and PS3 numbers are just there to show you that the PS2 in comparison has sold an equal amount of units since the start of this gen, a gen that it can't be apart of despite having kept on selling for 5 years into this gen.

So, this is not a PS2 vs HD thread. Its a PS2 vs Next Gen definition-thread.

Thank you..it's not hard to see that point.. does not matter? In my opinion not at all..lol

but it does Show world wide the PS2's sales and How those sales have continued due to not only Release, pricepoint, but game archive. the PS2 was an still is a very good system.

It's like i am banging my head against a wall!

The point is to not see how succesful something is.....It is not bashing the PS2, not even sticking up for 360...The point is he said that PS2 had outsold 360 since 360 had released. That is not correct. That is the point. If you use the first day the 360 was released in americas and base total numbers from that date then of course he is right. But as i have tried countless times to explain to you that would be counting total ps2 numbers in the whole world versus 1 regions numbers. It is no contest, it is not a comparison. You can't compare sales like that. I mean really is it that complicated? I work for an analysis company. If my boss told me to compare product A's sales with product B's sales i would have to compare them from the same starting position. Other wise you can use the data to manipulate it into saying whatever you wanted. have to compare apples with apples as the old saying goes.
