I think its different is a sense that PS2 owners are waiting for PS3 price cut to jump in the ship to be NEW adopters, but majority of Slim Xbox owners are existing Xbox owners that want to get a quieter and seemingly RROD proof version to replace the old ones that give them nightmares, so the market is still the same.
