I used to have this problem on occassion (the "System Files Corrputed" message would appear. (A hard system reset usually would take care of the problem). Interestingly, I don't think I have had it since I removed the PIN that I had placed on there to limit my 7-year-old son from playing inappropriate games.
Now my only concern is an increasingly noisy disk drive. Maybe I need to break out my Power Saves in case I ever need to send the unit away for repair (and yes, SSBB, I am looking at you)
