I'm probably the biggest TF2 nut here, and I own it on both the 360 AND the PC so I'll say this on the subject...

Aiming with the Wii controls in any FPS would be awesome, provided the controls are done properly. The same would be true with Orange Box on the Wii and there's no graphical reason it couldn't be done. The TF2 graphics are very simple and can go to VERY low resolutions without issue.

Now, as to whether or not it would be worth Valve's time to so do, that's anyone's guess, but the qualms about "the Wii's online" are pure bullshit because the game would quite obviously use Steam for all online (the online application which MS ripped off to make Live with, FYI).

So the only REAL concern is whether or not it would sell enough copies to make it's money back, but that's hard to say. The Orange Box is an epic game in itself so Wii owners could flock to it, or it could be more like PS3 sales.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks
