On topic, outside of POS advertising, I'd guess there has been little if any nationally televised campaigns on the 360S, is this true in Others as well?

No.. they were advertising it on TV in the UK for the last few weeks. not that often, but they were there.
I have noticed a lot of multiplats being advertised with a PS3 ending recently though... something MS used to do more of.

Cool thanks. I don't watch a LOT of TV, but I do watch a fair amount of sports and I would guess that here in the states there has been little or no televised advertisements on the release of the 360S (though ads that show the 360 at the end do show the "S" model).
I haven't noticed an increase in PS3 ending ads here though. Interesting data.
