So if I don't buy a bunch of games that might be crappy instead of the few Nintendo games that I know will be awesome, then I'm not a man???

No wonder I have such great conversations with women.

By 'man up', I mean hold up your end of the deal.

It's a statement inferring that that many vocal Wii gamers demand more games focused on them yet only a small portion actually buy the very titles aimed at them.   Part of being a man is owning up to obligations and as a collective unit, we've not done that very well.

You got that wrong. We demanded good games. Third parties didn't deliver, so we didn't buy. The Wii gamers are only the bad guys, if you leave crucial details out of your story.

Although a lot of the lesser selling games are still good, but not hit material, and would not be hit material on any system.

Who really needs to man up are developers realizing that one core game is not as good as another.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
