For your first comment, the latter is correct. I add a game once it hits a million copies sold, regardless when it was released.
As for your second comment, I respectfully disagree with your conclusion. It would be way too much hastle to go back to this thread in 3 years just because Guitar Hero 6 on 360 finally hit a million. 
It makes more sense for me just to add titles that hit the million mark in this particular year.
And if anyone is wondering why I skipped last week, it's because I'm a lazy bum. When NA sales are up, expect another update.
