I buy any game ...3rd party or not, hardcore or casual etc based on the following criteria:
1. It seems to be in a genre or style that appeals to my taste.
2 General concensus states that it is a good game.
ie, if any of these 3rd party games are supposed to be good, I will part with my cash as I always have (I did purchase day of release madworld, little kings story,NMH 1 and 2, Endless Ocean 1 2 (if they count) MH3 and house of the dead- overkill, for instance, as I had heard they didn't suck. I was interested in The Conduit but it didn't exactly recieve a positive reception so I passed it up. If Conduit 2 is supposed to be good I will probably buy it although I gotta admit it aint something I'm that excited about right now! GOLDENEYE has potential but I'll also wait and see. Am more excited about Nintendo's 1st party lineup to care at the moment for the near future!
