Breaking Bad is truly an incredible series, something as rare as an original plot and realistic characters. Walt is perhaps the best character on TV since the conception of Gregory House. Bryan Cranston is a terrific actor, making the leap from Hal to Walt speaks volumes of his depth in the game.
Between House, Top Gear, Breaking Bad, Mythbusters, The Tudors and Spartacus, this is one helluva year for good TV! 
I also enjoy Fringe (John Noble is a legend on this show) with its whacky setting, Leverage for its merry mood and easy entertainment value and Castle for good one liners and the always awesome Nathan Fillion and his humor and timing.
