it could be over heating. I know my Wii's been having a similar problem everytime i play MH3 for extended hours. It could be caused by dust; if thats the case, this is what i did. (i dont recommend it tho) I took one of those pressurized air dusters and jammed one end into the wii and spent the can till it wouldnt cough out any more dust. The Wii now works even better than before.
My dad wanted to buy a new Wii instead of repairng it, so i had to choice since i didnt want to lose my precious MH save file
