Man, oh, man, do I have a story for you guys!

My very first console was a Super Nintendo. It was given to me when I was very young. It lasted for many years, until this plastic piece on the back broke, where the AC adapter plugs into, and although it could still play games, you constantly had to wiggle the AC adapter to get the picture on the TV to keep working, so I sold it on eBay, and found another one at the pawn shop. Later, as I started to become a serious console collector, I sold it again, because it was in very bad condition, and I bought another one. Except, the new one I bought was missing the lock-in-mechanism, and felt very cheap, so I sold it, and finally bought a "perfect" one.

A Nintendo 64 was also given to me, and it lasted many years. But, one day, it got rained on, so I had to go to the store, and buy another one. That was pretty much the end of that.

A Playstation was also given to me, but I sold it after I got my Playstation 2. When I became a serious collector again, I wanted the original Playstation again, so I bought one at the pawn shop. Except, it was in pretty bad shape, so I sold it after I found a mint one at a video game store.

I bought a Dreamcast on eBay, but I sold it, because it came in bad condition, so I bought it again on eBay, except I got it brand new, to make sure it came in good form.

I bought an Xbox, which got damaged after I moved, so I sold it, and bought another one.

I bought a Gamecube, which got severely beaten up over the years, so I sold it, and bought a brand new Platinum one. The purple Gamecube was too childish anyways.

I bought a Nintendo, but it wasn't working, so I exchanged it for another one, which was in bad shape, so I sold it, and bought another one in mint condition.

I bought a Gameboy on eBay, which came in bad condition, so I sold it, and bought another one on eBay, in mint condition.

A Gameboy Color was given to me, but I sold it on eBay, and bought a Gameboy Advance SP, but later on, I wanted to collect all the Gameboy handhelds, so I bought it again on eBay, in mint condition.

I bought a Playstation Portable, but I had to exchange it a number of times, because of dead pixels.

I bought an Atari 2600, which later broke, so I bought another one.

I bought two Philips CDi consoles, resold one, and made $90.

Well, that's pretty much it. I break even when I sell, and rebuy a console, but it can still be a hastle sometimes.

Well, after all of that, I now own all the consoles, in mint condition. It was fun, kind of pricey, but the funny thing is, I paid retail for my Playstation 3, and it cost more than half of my other consoles.
