I agree.
Japan didn't have cam corders back then and the only way they could have captured the real world was a paint brush, a scroll, and talent from the artist. But now they have the ability to have real time video chat in a video game handheld. However, they decided to use a robot for their last spot in the video chat instead of that girl that appeared out of nowhere in the end of the video.
Their technology made have changed for the last 100 year, but their social structure seems to be same with the exception of robots having higher status than women socially or in video games at least. >_<
