I have it on now but I am thinking about turning it off. One weird thing about my Wii is when I play NES games and hit the home button the buttons on the screen pixels start going out on the button. I never have pixel problems like this while playing the game just when hitting home button during NES VC game. Isn't the big of problem (maybe if pixels started going out while the game was playing then I would send it in). Anyways, I think I'll turn it off since I find no use for it. I agree with you d21lewis they could have used it to better effect.
You will still get messages that your friends send you right (once you turn your Wii on)?
Just turned it off now. I felt my Wii and it felt pretty damn hot. Couldn't they release a firmware update that makes the fan run while WiiConnect24 is on?
