Indeed. Reach is doing very well when you think about it. Almost 500k pre-orders with 2 and a half months to go. That is before any form of advertising has started.
We know MS will advertise the hell out of this game. It is one of very few games that can cross over into the mainstream. There is going to be the obvious normal things like the tv trailers but you can expect things like Halo burgers, Halo drinks, Halo everything. It will have Halo written on a wide range of products.
MS are going to spend big on it. It might not have 4 in the title but they will treat it like it does. It would not surprise me at all to see a couple of weeks prior to release it do 300k-400k a week pre-orders.
