Looks like Demon's Souls, epic, can't wait 10/10.

This isn't specifically to Zen, but to those saying this in general.  How so?

A number of people have made this comment but I can't for the life of me see the similarity unless it's based on the color palette so I'm curious.

prolly the look of monsters. they somewhat can be related to one another on the looks, just no glowing eyes or something.

For me it was the castle scene in which the trailer opens. I felt I've been there already, I really liked that place and I wanna go back!

As a wii owner currently playing Xenoblade and an avid Anime watcher I'm gonna throw in my 2 cents :P

Anime and Manga are deeply rooted in Japanese culture so it's obvious that JRPGs would have similar art styles and themes. For me Xenoblade is like Naruto and Bleach. Kiddy and colourful art style dealing with adult themes and some big issues. From the Trailer I would say The Last story is like Ghost in a shell, with a more adult and realistic art style focusing on dark themes and heavy on the story. So i you want the bright coloured JRPG then buy Xenoblade, if you want the more adult dark JRPG buy The last story. Easy init :D personally I have Xenoblade and I will buy The last story too because I think they compliment each other well.

On to the trailer!

Things I like:

graphics and character models - backgrounds look detailed and monsters look well designed, and most of all character models look really good! The character models in Xenoblade suck! not enough to make you want to stop playing the game but still you wish they were better :/ I dunno about you but if I'm gonna fight for the love of a princess, I'd prefer her to be a stunner ;) and Kanan looks the part (^^)b

Cover system - looks unique and the possibilities seem endless! imagine you are in a battle with multiple bad guys, you're winning then they call reinforcements and mages and archers appear and start firing on you. You take cover and order some people to draw fire then you and another sneak around the back and take out the mages and archers :D

Interacting with NPCs - pumping into people! wasn't expecting that and it looks a riot! It's one of the things I've always thought should be added to games with towns and normal people, to make the place seem more realistic.

Things I didn't like:

Running animation - The animation in battle look good but the running animation looks like he's sliding a bit :( then again the running and jumping animation in Xenoblade are also bad but after running and jumping around for hours in the massive open world you forget about it :D

Side note - Xenoblade is awsome! and long! 30 hours in and I'm only on the 2nd city!!!! o_O

I agree with your opinion regarding how Xenoblade and Last Story might complement pretty well with each other. And I needed to tell you that I hate you because you are showing off so shamelessly. I really want to play Xenoblade!
