If you're talking about the swarm of 1-star amazon reviews on the day of release, that was planned beforehand by a bunch of members of 2chan. The game was very well received otherwise.

I have no idea. If you look at reader polls from magazines like Famitsu or Dengeki, the response was positive, so it was probably just a big practical joke considering that Amazon.co.jp was specifically targeted.
